Project: Leather tassel earrings.

Not going to write a full essay about the instructions. Have photos for you.

1.

Firstly, get a small piece of leather and cut in even lines into it, leaving a top line untouched so all the strips d0n’t fall apart.

2.

Roll up the leather piece and support by twisting the wire around the top of the leather.

After that, open up a hoop and add it onto the wire (picture above).

3. Attach a special metal piece to the hoop which is going to hold the earring hook in place tight so it doesn’t fall off.

4.  Bend a piece of wire so it creates a hook which you can put in your ear.

5.Place the hook in the metal piece and squeeze it tight so it stays in place.

6.Squeeze the metal piece and the wire with some pliers and cut off the unneeded pieces.

Here we have a finished earring!

Project : a maxi chiffon skirt.

Now that I have lots of time off, I’ve got a lot of ideas and projects in my head. I’ve  already posted an introduction to the red dress which I have been changing. The dress is finished now and doesn’t look like it used to! Changing your current clothes or making them yourself is so much cheaper than buying it from Topshop or similar shops.

Last Sunday I went to a market in Manchester where there was a man who was selling fabric £1 a meter! Amazing? Yes! They’re usually £5 a m. Dirt cheap then. I got loads. My mum got so much fabric for tops and dresses to make and I only got a black chiffon which I have used to make a maxi skirt. I always wanted one but the ones in the shop are too expensive for what they are.

Here’s one from the shop :

and here’s what my skirt looks like (sorry for the quality of the photos, will take proper ones soon)

OOTD – Meeting with a friend for coffee.

Today is Saturday (think all of you know this already but yeah). I went to visit my friend who I’ve not seen for ages. A family friend. Love her to pieces. She’s amazing. I’ve decided to go for a girly, subtle look today. Spring’s here so why not. Here’s what I wore :)

Summer project – modifying a simple dress.

Hello…! It’s sunny today- again! Love it. Because of that, I’ve started to think about my summer clothes. I had a dress from Primark which was a simple strapless maxi. I’ve never actually worn it as it didn’t look nice on me because of the strapless type. So, I’ve decided to change it! Here, I’m posting a few pictures for you to see how I’ve started. NOT FINISHED YET! Will post a few at the end to show you the results :)

after, not finished yet-

OOTTD – Airport.

Last Saturday (24th) we had an amazing day. By ‘we’ I mean me and my whole family at home (won’t be listing them all). The reason for that is that my grandma who I’ve not seen for over a year came down from Poland to visit us! I could not believe it! The last time she was here was 5 years ago…So yeah, I think you all do understand how important and amazing it was for us. We’ve been asking her all that time (5 years) to come down again. The reason she didn’t want to was because she’s scared of flying and all that. However, she DID IT!  I’m really happy and because I’m already off for Easter and have 4 weeks off from today on, I will be posting some interesting stuff for you guys.  So if you want to see something, I don’t know, a post that you’d really want to read, see, whatever- let me know! Use the whole time I have off!

This post is an outfit of the day when I went to pick up my nana from the airport with my mum and dad. Rock’y kind of wear which I love. It’s a mix of rock and kind of girly pop’y stuff.

Leather jacket from Blue Inc- http://www.blueinc.co.uk/ £34.99 or less.

White vest top from Primark (sorry no website to buy online) £1.99

Jeans also Primark! (woo, go primark!) £7.99

Scarf with skulls – Afflecks Palace, Manchester £2.99

Shoes – ShoeDazzle Kim Kardashian collection- £9.99

Nicki Minaj inspired look

Recently, I’ve been listening to Nicki Minaj’s songs quite a lot. I forgot that I had a lipstick which is from BarryM and is amazing. I’ve used it once only so I thought that I could do with a make-up look where I could use the lipstick… I went for rouge and pinks with vanilla colours. The whole eye make-up reminds me of vanilla ice cream with raspberry stuff on it. I’m sure you know what I’m talking about! :) Here’s what it looked like :)

Louis Vuitton S/S 2012 Make-up Look

Hi, so recently we’ve all seen the newest collection for Spring/Summer 2012. My two fave ones- Valentino and Louis Vuitton. Gorgeous. Definitely. However, the Louis Vuitton F/W 2012/13 is pretty disappointing. I thought it was going to be something as pretty and cute as the summer one. Ah well, I’m still going to be in love with the summer collection.

Okay, so if you haven’t seen the collections or the shows then here’s a link for you! The Louis Vuitton show was absolutely stunning! So pretty and fresh!

Louis Vuitton s/s 2012 Show

I was and still am so obsessed with the collection that I’ve even based my previous project at uni on it! All the flowers have be re-created by me and done in my own design and project. Was pretty happy with it!

I’ve obviously looked at the behind the scenes photos where I could see the make-up looks in detail and up closer. Here are some photos of the make-up looks from the show.

Now you know what kind of style it is I will show you what I have done with it by being inspired by the models’ looks. Hope you like it and if you do then let me know in any way so I will make a video tutorial for you so you can see how to re-create this look!

PS: I have not used fake lashes in my look but to make the look literally the same as the Vuitton one , you only need to add false lashes to the one I’ve created.

Cute Valentine’s Manicure

Hi, I’ve done a tutorial for you all on Cute Valentine’s Manicure, where I outline the most important facts of a manicure. However, the video isn’t uploaded just yet, but I’ve already wanted to share with you all what idea I came up with. So obviously, when you think of Valentines- you think of pinks and reds. Duh.

So I’ve used the palest pink I had and the cutest rouge colour I had. Pale pink from Nails Inc and rouge from BarryM. In addition I’ve used a white and four little cute dark pink crystals (obviously fake ones).

Here’s what I came up with :

Smoky eye inspired by Kim Kardashian (dramatic)

This look is one of the very strong and dramatic ones. However, a lot of girls and boys wear it as an everyday look. When you go (for example) to Selfridges, MAC- you will see a lot of dramatic smoky eyes! It’s definitely my favourite. I adore it way too much…

This one was inspired by Kim so it’s a very bold and smoky look. There’s a bit of white highlighting shadow in the inner corner and under the brow (to highlight and make your eyes look bigger). Black eye shadow doesn’t really make your actual eye look bigger, it makes it look smaller, however the whole shadow and the whole make-up visually makes it look as if your eye was finishing right under the brow (if you know what I mean). Anyway, here’s the look. Remember! If you want to wear it as an everyday look , wear it with really light lips or at least neutral. If you’re going for the evening, dramatic look wear it with red lips ;)

Avon glazewear Dazzle lip glosses!

Last time, which was about 5 days ago, I’ve been placing my avon order for all my customers. I’ve decided to order something for myself this time too. I’ve ordered a thermal mud mask, a correcting lotion, a deep pore cleansing scrub, 2 colourtrend lip glosses and 3 glazewear dazzle glosses. I was so excited about received the lip glosses as I love anything that’s sparkly!

Absolutely amazing. That’s all I have to say about them. They are so sparkly that’s it’s just unbelievable, they smell nicely and they stay on for quite a while! The intensiveness of the pigment is massive but it’s just about right. Here I have some photos for you to have a look your self!

Chow for now xoxo
